Your - BLDC - Blinking LED Module is programmed to provide standard DOT flashing rate.

Flashing rate: "The illuminating element in a flashing signal shall be flashed continuously at a rate of not less than 50 nor more than 60 times per minute."

                    "The illuminated period of each flash shall be not less than 1/2 and not more than 2/3 of the total flash cycle."

This module provides reliable dual crossing gate signals for your layout.

It is shipped standard with a Dual Crossing Gate - Life-Like, Item# 8309, for HO scale.

INSTALLING THE BLDC - Read the Entire Documents from Train Set Electronics and Life-Like and Plan Accordingly 

• Your BLDC comes with a power adapter/transformer.
• Choose a location for the BLDC. The Transformer power cable length is 6 feet. 
• LED wires are 6 inch long, you can extend them to your desired length. (Read Note) 
• Install the Crossing Signals.
• Drill and insert wires through the holes made on your layout.
• Conceal the wires and connect them to the module as follows: (2) Black - (1) Green | (2) Red - (1) Red | (2) White - (1) Yellow
• Make sure the wires do not interfere with the proper operation of the gates.
• Connect the power Black to +++++ and White to Grey.
• BLDC will continue flashing. A switch could be installed in series with the (+) wire. 

Note: If you are using different wire colors remember the substitute colors need to match the correct connections. Maximum length 25 feet. It can handle up to 12 LEDs.

• Do not glue the LED's front lens - Color and Aspect will be deteriorated.
• We do not recommend the use of other LED's. Train Set Electronics LEDs are specially manufactured for our products and are guaranteed to function properly with this module.
• We do not recommend the use of other Transformers or Power Adapters. Flashing Rate will change and could damage the module.

CARE - To enjoy your BLDC for a long time:

• Keep it dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.
• Use and store the BLDC only in normal temperature environments.
• Handle the BLDC gently and carefully. DO NOT DROP IT.
• Keep the BLDC away from dust and dirt.

MODIFYING OR TAMPERING WITH THE BLDC's INTERNAL COMPONENTS CAN CAUSE A MALFUNCTION AND WILL INVALIDATE ITS WARRANTY.
